Abstract

Abstract A series of La2 − xAxBxNi1 − xO4 (A = Sr, Ba; B = Mn, Fe, x = 0, 0.2) complex oxides for simultaneous removal of nitrogen oxides and diesel soot were prepared by the citric acid complexation. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, XPS, H2-TPR, NO-TPD and catalytic activity measurements. According to these investigations, we found that the A2BO4-style catalyst containing Ni had excellent catalytic performance at low temperature. The oxygen had great influence on the target reaction. B-site would mainly influence the reaction temperature range; A-site would mainly control the selectivity of the reaction. The La1.8Sr0.2NiO4 catalyst showed the best activity, and the yield of N2 is up to 72% just at 300 °C.
