Abstract

A description is given of tests made to determine whether there is a relation between the interference currents in submarine cables and the atmospheric interference in radio. Racorder and oscillograph photographs show the agreement in a large number of interference signals. Cable and antenna, therefore, are influenced similarly by the same interference processes.
