Abstract

This paper describes a personal computer program used at the Department of Control Science, Technical University of Brno for demonstration and research of intelligent controllers which are based on the expert system paradigm. The program is able to simulate the behavior of a discrete controller with three layers of functionality - the control feedback loop, the adaptive loop and the expert system loop. The knowledge base of the expert system is organized as ordered set of independent rules.
