Abstract
The paper first outlines the experimental kiln. Next, the control system that has been developed, which contains a fuzzy control module, is presented. Simulation results as obtained from an experimental model are given. Results from on-line experimentation of the physical kiln are given as well. The paper ends with a discussion of the results and conclusions.
