Abstract

With the development of wireless communication technology, the planar helical antenna has been used widely due to the circular polarization and broadband characteristics. This paper establishes an electromagnetic model of a 6-10GHz band planar helical antenna, the coupling effect of HEMP, HPM and UWB pulse is simulated using the model, and the UWB pulse is selected for the coupling simulation study with different incident angles, polarization directions and peak field magnitudes. The results show that the coupling voltage of HPM pulse is the largest, the coupling effect is strongly correlated with the polarization mode of the interference pulse, and the linear response of the antenna is obtained. The result provides guidance for the application of the equivalent test methods for electronic information systems that do not meet the full-scale radiation method of external RF susceptibility.
