Abstract
The two degrees of freedom dynamics model is established to explore the vibration performance of active suspension system of car, and the road simulation model is built which is expressed by integration of white noise in Simulink. The PID controller of suspension system is designed to operate in Matlab software, whose parameters can be regulated to restrain the vibration of whole vehicle effectively. The main indexes containing dynamic deflection of suspension, body acceleration, and dynamic load of tire are compared between active and passive suspension. The simulation results show that the body acceleration of active suspension with PID controller is decreased deeply than that of passive suspension, which can improve ride comfort and handling stability of car.
