Abstract

Computer simulations were conducted to study propagation of vertical Bloch lines under the influence of a sinusoidal magnetic potential generated by a conductor current. The simulation was performed for 11 stripe domains, with domain walls of infinite length carrying periodic data trains, in typical magnetic bubble material; as the driving field, a trapezoidal pulse field was applied. It was found that for a conductor current of 1 mA and a bias field of from 30 to 40 Oe, a sufficient propagation margin of around 7 Oe may be obtained.
