Abstract

Abstract—The mathematical model that describes changes in pressure in a hydraulic fracture after the stoppage of fracturing fluid injection is proposed. The model takes into account the friction loss in the bottomhole zone of a well as a result of deviation of the fracture trajectory and the presence of the perforation holes. In the case of monotonic and oscillatory flow regimes in the fracture the analytical solutions are obtained for the pressure in the hydraulic fracture after the stoppage of fracturing fluid injection together with the analytical expressions for the pressure drop in the bottomhole zone. The dependence of the solutions obtained on the problem parameters is investigated.
