Abstract

This work is dedicated to the numerical investigation of spectral diffractive lenses taking into account the effects of the rigorous electromagnetic diffraction theory. A method is implemented for calculating spectral diffractive lenses (SDLs) with a stable focus position at different wavelengths, based on minimizing the function that describes the difference between the complex transmission functions of SDLs at the given wavelengths from the such of diffractive lenses calculated for each of the design wavelengths. Numerical simulation of rasters of such lenses is carried out taking into account the effects of the electromagnetic diffraction theory, and the influence of neighboring lenses in the raster on the formed focal spots is investigated.
