Abstract

A novel Method of Moments approach with the Green's function of the rectangular cavity is introduced, compared, and validated against the Method of Moments with the free-space Green's function. The Ewald method is employed to accelerate the computation of the cavity Green's function. The spectral part of the system matrix is factorized in the spectral domain resulting in a significant reduction in computation time. Results showing the performance and the accuracy of the proposed algorithm are presented. As an application example, the efficiency of a stirrer is investigated.
