Abstract
Abstract Non-isothermal flow is simulated in a modular Buss Kneader including crosshead screw extruder. A method of calculating cycle averaged mean temperature rises for individual elements is discussed and results are presented. A method is then described for making calculations in a modular multi element Buss Kneader. Finally we compared the calculations with experiment.
