Abstract
The paper presents the features of numerical simulation of induction heating of a ferromagnetic plate by a covering inductor when powered from a voltage source, a method for calculating a symmetric system containing an odd number of turns is described. The calculation results are compared with experimental data. The influence of the correction of the magnetization curve on the correspondence of the simulation and experimental results is investigated.
