Abstract
An accurate Runge–Kutta scheme has been coupled to a flux corrected transport (FCT) technique for solving the free surface flow equations. The main attraction of this approach lies in obtaining oscillatory free solution. Numerical results indicate that this formulation is less sensitive to the CFL stability criteria, and the captured shock front is high resolute.
