Abstract

This paper is devoted to simulation direct current electrical prospecting curves for a 3D medium with a ground surface relief and with immersed inhomogeneity. This paper presents a mathematical model, a numerical method for solving the direct problem of electrical resistivity tomography using the method of integral equations, the test results of this algorithm and the numerical simulation results of the apparent resistivity curves to take into account and evaluate the influence of the ground surface relief. The test results of this algorithm showed the accuracy of taking into account the shape of the relief, efficiency and cost-effectiveness in using the computer resources.
