Abstract

ABSTRACT THE USDAHL-74 revised model of watershed hydrology was evaluated on an 83-ha arid range-land watershed in southwest Idaho. The model simulated soil water adequately, except during periods in late summer and fall. Simulated runoff indicated that the model responded primarily to precipitation intensity; however, measured watershed runoff responded primarily to precipitation amount and not as much to intensity.
