Abstract

One of the key points of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) is the energy management of such complex systems. In order to achieve a good energy management of a HEV, a global management and local management should be considered mutually. Many works have been done about HEV global management under the assumption that each subsystem is well controlled. But the local management must take the global system into account. In this paper, a unified control structure suitable for different HEVs is introduced. It is deduced from a global model using Energetic Macroscopic Representation (EMR) by the inversion-based control principle. This control structure deals with the local energy management considering the global energy management. Simulations are done for different HEV in Matlab Simulink.
