Abstract

Today's thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) cannot function without automated process control systems (APCS). An APCS is mainly intended to keep CHPP running in a steady state by controlling and adjusting the key process parameters, issuing commands to the controls, and visualizing the process data and core / auxiliary equipment status. An APCS is necessary for accident prevention as well as for the analysis and stabilization of parametric values. Automated control systems are what implements the company's economic and quality policies.
