Abstract
The electromagnetic gun uses the ampere force generated by the electromagnetic field in the electromagnetic system to accelerate the shell, thus generating the kinetic energy required by the shell to launch and hit the target. An electromagnetic gun launching system with STM32 as the controller is introduced. Openmv camera combined with laser ranging module can automatically capture the initial angle of the target deviated from the muzzle and input the distance or key according to the muzzle. STM32 controller can calculate the shooting distance and angle according to the returned coordinate value and adjust the muzzle angle through algorithm to attack accurately. Electromagnetic gun is often used in military as a new type of weapon, which has the advantages of fast launching speed, convenient adjustment and higher accuracy.
