Abstract

Numerical study of turbulent swirling air flow with solid particles in a centrifugal dust catcher is carried out in this paper. The Spalart-Allmaras modified turbulence model (SARC) has been used to construct a mathematical model with account of the interaction between solid particles and air mass. The Lagrange approach has been used to study the trajectory of solid particles. The numerical results obtained are compared with experimental data.
