Abstract
A new type of 0.18 mm thin silicon steel with very low iron loss orientation is used to analyze the key structure of the laminated core -- step joint area by using equivalent magnetic property method, and the equivalent magnetization curve of the laminated joint area of 0.18 mm silicon steel sheet is obtained. Based on this, the laminated core structure of 0.18 mm oriented silicon steel for ultra-high energy efficiency distribution transformer is determined. The finite element method was used to carry out no-load operation simulation of the laminated core structure considering the influence of core joints, and a transformer prototype was used to carry out no-load operation experiment. The experiment showed that the modeling method considering the joint area was more close to the experimental value, and the no-load loss of the designed core was about 28.56% lower than the limit value of energy efficiency level 1 silicon steel sheet in GB20052–2013. Significantly improve the technical level of China's high-end energy-saving distribution transformers.KeywordsHigh energy efficiency transformerLaminated core structure second keywordCore seam
