Abstract

High-power diesel engine working process simulation and experiment are important means for design development and performance optimization. A high-power diesel engine was selected as the research object in the paper, working process simulation theory and method were analyzed. Various system models were established during working process by GT-POWER simulation software, and performance and thermal parameters for high-power diesel were simulated. Simultaneously, experiment methods for the diesel engine working process parameters were analyzed and dynamic, economic and reliability parameters were measured. Finally, model verification and error analysis were performed by the contrast between simulation and experiment results. Research indicates that the experimental data of the cylinder pressure matches well, and the errors of other parameters are controlled within 3%.
