Abstract

Cavitation water jet cleaning technology is widely applied in pipeline cleaning due to its advantages of low operating pressure, environmental protection. In this paper, a composite cavitation cleaner is designed, in which the organ nozzle is added based on the original blade cleaner. As a result, the turbulent intensity of liquid flow, the cavitation zone and the vapor volume fraction are increased, the cavitation effect is enhanced. The composite cavitation cleaner is taken as the research object. The change regulation of flow field characteristics such as velocity distribution, pressure distribution and vapor volume fraction are analyzed with CFD numerical simulation method. Through direct observation and multi-point pressure measurement method, the cavitation effect and pressure change regulation of flow field under different inlet pressures are obtained.
