Abstract
A methodology for the simulation and control of large-scale systems using a knowledge base is given. The structure of the knowledge base and the algorithm for simulation and control of large-scale systems are presented. This methodology has been applied in the field of natural systems (e.g. a network of ten interconnected great lakes, from the hydrological system of the Danube Delta).
