Abstract

Accurately simulating the wind generator radar echo signal to obtain its unique Doppler characteristics is of great significance for solving the problem of passive interference of wind turbines to radar stations. In this paper, considering the different forms of the earth's surface, an improved multi-path high-frequency electromagnetic scattering model for wind turbines is established, and the wind turbine radar echo on the ground is theoretically analyzed. By taking specific wind turbine as an example, the improved model is used to simulate the radar echo, and the time domain and time-frequency characteristics of the echo signal are analyzed. The simulation results are compared with the actual measurement results in related literatures. It shows the feasibility and effectiveness of the method in this paper, and provides a reference for the identification and clutter suppression of wind turbine radar echo signals.
