Abstract

Aiming at the impact of social herd effect on the spread of network rumors, this paper starts from the user's local environment and uses Multi-Agent modeling technology in Anylogic simulation platform to model and simulate the spread of rumors. The model first analyzes the process and degree of spread of rumors from a micro and macro perspective by defining Agent behavior. Then it adds a rumor removal mechanism to the model, and analyzes the time and credibility of the government and the media to release rumor removal information. The number of system user's changes to reveal trends in rumors. The simulation results show that the social conformity effect will accelerate the spread of rumors and expand the scope of rumors. In addition, the higher the credibility of the government and the mainstream media, the earlier the rumor dissemination information is released, the better the effect of suppressing the spread of rumors.
