Abstract
Employing the data from comprehensive drainage system surveys and pipeline defect diagnostics, the StormDesk software was utilized to construct a SWMM model. This model facilitates the simulation of operational scenarios within the pipe network, both with the existing network defects and following their rectification, and provides crucial insight for the repair and renovation of the drainage infrastructure. The results indicate that the current drainage system in the study area is inadequate, with a high incidence of pipeline defects. This poses a significant flood risk during intense rainfall events. Given the projected increase in rainfall intensity, it is imperative to substantially enhance the drainage capacity of the existing system.
