Abstract

In order to adapt to the trend of distribution network to be intelligent, efficient and green, Guangdong Power Grid has successfully developed a new type of dry-type transformer with high energy saving and reliability. As the key equipment of voltage and capacity control, its dynamic characteristics can not be ignored. In this paper, the working principle of on-load voltage regulation and capacity regulation of 10kV new high energy-saving dry-type transformer is analyzed theoretically. In addition, the simulation model is built based on the electromagnetic transient simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC, and the influence of voltage regulation and capacitance regulation process on voltage stability is simulated and analyzed. Relevant conclusions can provide theoretical support for the promotion and adjustment strategy formulation of the new distribution transformer.
