Abstract

To represent the temperature and degree of cure (DOC) more intuitively during the curing process of fiber-wound composite shell, wrote SDVINI, DISP, FILM, and HETVAL subroutines to characterize the fiber-wound composite curing process in ABAQUS. Comparing the temperature and DOC. The results indicate that the heat released from the resin curing process affects the internal temperature of the material, but the effect is small and can be ignored. The DOC on the surface of the fiber-wound shell during the curing process is slightly larger than that inside, but the difference is small and can be approximated as equal. And when the curing time is the same, the faster the heating rate, the faster the curing rate.
