Abstract

The FORGE@ numerical simulation was used to analysis and research on the integrated forming nozzle process of the main steam pipe, and then guide sampling test plan and forming process evaluation. The results show that the maximum axial tensile stress appears in the middle of the forming process, which is on the inner surface of the extrusion deformation transition region, and the maximum radial tensile stress and equivalent strain appears at the end of the extrusion nozzle forming process, which is located in the inner surface area of the nozzle mouth, and it is easy to crack. For the weak position, it is necessary to increase the number of samples and test items to verify the overall quality of nozzle.
