Abstract

A new simulated CCU (Central Control Unit) of EMU (Electric Multiple Units Train) was designed in this paper using the principles of braking system control technology and CCU technology in CRH380B high-speed EMU. The simulated CCU was combined of hardware and software, including control host, communication network and HMI (Human and Machine Interface) screen. All communication functions, control functions and user interface of the real CCU in CRH380B high-speed EMU are simulated, so the simulated CCU could control the BCU (Breaking Control Unit) and foundational equipment in the CRH380B high-speed EMU, also it could collect states of each component and has the function of Human-Device interaction. The simulated CCU can be used to produce training equipment of high-speed EMU's braking system to meet the needs of high-speed railway drivers and maintenance staff training.
