Abstract
Cervical cerclage is an effective treatment of cervical incompetence. In women with deficient cervix or recurrent 2nd trimester pregnancy loss despite previous vaginal approach, abdominal cerclage is the treatment of choice. The technique is better performed at the end of the 1st trimester following embryo screening. The objective of this study was to assess the safety and efficacy of a novel laparoscopic approach.
