Abstract

Geometric Programming has proven to be a useful tool for the optimum design of solar sea power plants. The Carnegie Mellon University team working on the OTEC concept has found it profitable to develop a FORTRAN based computer code to solve simple geometric programs which arise often in OTEC work. This report describes such a program and gives an outline of how the computer program can be used in general.
