Abstract

A novel adaptive fuzzy decentralized regulation approach is proposed for a class of output-feedback large-scale nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying time-delays and interconnections. Each subsystem is needed only one fuzzy approximator, so the number of employed approximators equal to the number of subsystems of the whole large-scale systems. This is different from the existing results, which are used to employ much more than one approximators in each subsystem. Both the observer and the controller are independent of the unknown time delay. It is proved that the proposed design approach is able to guarantee semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness (SGUUB) of all signals in the closed-loop system, with arbitrary small error by appropriately choosing design constants.
