Abstract
Several sophisticated averaged-switch models have been proposed in the literature to represent the non-ideal pulse width modulated switched-inductor DC-DC converters based on the energy conservation principle. Alternatively, proposed is a full-order state-space averaged model that takes into account conduction losses associated with the switching cell's components and is seamlessly functional in all operational modes. The proposed model also demonstrates improvement in accuracy compared to several established models.
