Abstract

This research article introduces a grounded meminductor emulator configuration utilizing Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) as an active device. The circuit provides a distinct fingerprint such as a pinched hysteresis loop of an ideal meminductor emulator. The parameters of the proposed grounded meminductor configuration can be electronically controllable by changing the bias voltage of the transconductance amplifier that helps in changing the transconductance gain, i.e. it can be considered as externally controllable meminductor. The performance of the proposed meminductor emulator has been validated with 90nm Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) technology in the Cadence Virtuoso tool.
