A shift of the mass lines in the mass spectra of I and II by three mass units was observed for the ions (M -H)and OCHa , while cleavage of the ester group occurs without randomization of the hydrogen atoms [in both pairs of mass spectra the mass lines of the (C6H5)and (CHa.C~H~) ions did not undergo any changes when the energy of the electrons was about 5 eV]. In the case of III a shift of one mass unit was noted for the ions (M-H) , (M-CHa) , and (M-55)
