Abstract

Electrical leads to the experimental space of a low-temperature apparatus must be thermally anchored to not overheat measured objects due to parasitic heat leak flowing through these leads. Thermal anchoring of electrical leads is realized by suitably adapted commercially available multi pole connectors with gilded hyperboloid contacts for wire-wrap connections. The electrical connections of measured objects are made by simple inserting pins to appropriate sockets of the connector. The main advantage of such a construction is the possibility to prepare all parts “on the table”, the quick electrical connection and disconnection of the measured object and also large flexibility.
