Abstract

In this paper, the asymptotic iteration method is used to study the Schrödinger equation for the linear potential in 3‐dimensions. We have obtained a perturbation expansion in terms of energy function and by using these expansions we have calculated energy eigenvalues. The obtained eigenvalues are compared with exact ones.
