Abstract
Attention deficit disorders in the DSM schemes have been diagnosed approximately 20 times the rate of hyperkinetic disorders in the World Health Organization’s ICD. This disparity has stemmed mostly from differences in diagnostic criteria. This article reviews the DSM-IV and ICD-10 drafts with respect to the attention deficit disorders.
