Abstract

แผลกดทบเปนปญหาสขภาพสำคญอยางหนง ซงเกดกบผปวยทมขอจำกดในการเคลอนไหวและมการทำ กจกรรมทลดลง บรเวณปมกระดกเปนตำแหนงทมโอกาสเกดแผลกดทบไดมาก โดยเฉพาะบรเวณกนกบ สะโพก สะบก และสนเทา สงผลกระทบตอผปวยทงดานรางกายและจตใจ รายงานนเสนอผลการศกษาผปวยแผลกดทบ ระดบ 4 จำนวน 2 ราย ทไดรบการรกษาดวยตำรบยาทานำผงวานหางจระเข เปรยบเทยบกบยา 1% Silver sulfadiazine cream ซง ทง 2 รายไดรบการทำแผล ลางแผลดวยนำเกลอวนละ 2 ครง กอนทายาลงบนแผลและไดรบการพลกตวทก 2 ชวโมง เหมอนกน ตดตามผลเปนระยะเวลา 8 สปดาหโดยใชเครองมอ Pressure Ulcer Scale for healing ในการประเมน ความกาวหนาของแผลกดทบ ผลการวจยพบวากรณศกษามแนวโนมขนาดของแผลลดลงดกวากรณควบคม และมการ เปลยนแปลงลกษณะของแผลทดขนโดยประเมนจาก PUSH Scores รวมทงไมพบภาวะแทรกซอนหรออาการไมพง ประสงคในผเขารวมวจยทง 2 ราย Case Report: Comparative Efficacy of Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. and Honey with 1% Silver Sulfadiazine Cream for The Treatment of Pressure Ulcers Nantaporn Promdam 1* , Bongkot Sotharo 1 , Nawarat Mansrijan 1 , Suphattra Theerakoolpisooth 1 Thapanee Keawjeen 2 , Kochakorn Sukjan Inthanuchit 2 and Wissava Rattanachai 3 Pressure ulcers is a serious health problem that can occurs with patients who have a limitation of moving their bodies or those who do less moving body activity. A bony prominence is an important position that can be significantly affected by the pressure ulcers, especially at coccyx, hips, shoulder, and heels. This can cause the problem physically and mentally to the patients. This report aims to present the result of the study in 2 patients who had pressure ulcers in stage IV. One was treated by herbal recipe consisting of Aloe Vera (L.) Burm.f. and honey in order to compare with another one who was treated with 1% Silver Sulfadiazine cream. Both of the patients' wounds were dressed and cleaned with normal saline twice a day before rubbing the medicine on them. In addition, both of them were turned themselves over every 2 hours. They were followed up the treatment result for 8 weeks by using Pressure Ulcer Scale for Healing to evaluate the advancement of pressure ulcer treatment. The result showed that the wound of the case study, treated with herbal recipe, got better than the case control's, treated with 1% Silver Sulfadiazine cream, evaluated by PUSH Scores. Furthermore, there were no side effects or complication in 2 patients.
