Abstract

AbstractBoth one‐dimensional silver nanowires(AgNWs) and spherical silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were synthesized with good dispersity and uniformity. In the presence of 4,4′‐dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP), the Ag NWs could catalyze the three‐component coupling of carbon dioxide, secondary amines, and propargylic alcohols efficiently, furnishing a range of structurally diverse β‐oxopropyl carbamatesin good to excellent yields, whereas the Ag NPs had a lower catalytic activity under similar reaction conditions. Moreover, the Ag NWs could be recycled and reused at least up to four times without significant loss of catalytic activity.
