Abstract

AbstractThis paper presents an effective electrodeposition method for generating hybrid material based on polyaniline (PANI), n‐type semiconductor (MoS2/WO3), and silver nanoparticle (AgNPs) which can trigger direct oxidation glucose in solution without an enzyme catalyst. To do so, the working electrode surface is firstly electrochemically modified by the PANI layers decorated with MoS2 and/or WO3, then electrodeposition of AgNPs on the as‐prepared electrode is carried out subsequently. The addition of WO3 and/or MoS2 and AgNPs to PANI matrix improves interfacial charge transfer efficiency. Especially, under light irradiation, the synergistic effect of n‐type semiconductor and AgNPs into the PANI matrix prompted its higher electrocatalytic activity which is exploited for direct oxidation of glucose in solution without the presence of any enzyme. This strategical approach reveals a promising manner for generating non‐enzymatic glucose electrochemical sensors upon laser excitation.
