Abstract
The article provides an overview of the different preparation methods, antimicrobial mechanisms and antimicrobial applications of silver nanomaterials. The synthesis methods of silver nanomaterials are mainly divided into physical synthesis, chemical synthesis and biosynthesis, among which biosynthesis is widely used due to its high purity and environmentally friendly products. The antibacterial mechanism of silver nanomaterials is relatively complex, which is the result of multiple ways such as disrupting the integrity of cell membranes, interfering with protein synthesis, affecting cell signaling and inhibiting DNA replication. The antibacterial performance, as the main property of silver nanomaterials, is widely used in fields such as biomedicine, antibacterial materials and wastewater treatment.
