Abstract
Two Ag(I) complexes containing the model nucleobases 1-methylcytosine (1-MeC), 9-methyladenine (9-MeA), and 7,9-dimethylguanine (7,9-DimeG) have been prepared and studied: [Ag(1-MeC-N 3 )(9-MeA-N 7 )(H 2 O)]NO 3 (2) crystallizes in the space group P2 1 /a,a=11.167 (2) A, b=13.437 (2) A, c=11.520 (2) A, β=109.79 (2) o , V=1626 (1) A 3 , Z=4
