This lecture shall be known as the Silvanus Thompson Memorial Lecture in memory of the late Prof. Silvanus P. Thompson, the first President of the Rontgen Society.2. The lecture shall be given annually at a General Meeting of the British Institute of Radiology.3. The choice of lecturer shall be made each year by a Selection Committee appointed by the Council. This Committee shall consist of the President, the two Honorary Secretaries and two members of the Council.
