Abstract
We establish connections between (co, weak) silting modules over a ring R and (co, weak) silting modules over a trivial extension of R. As applications, we describe how to construct (partial) tilting, cotilting and Tor-tilting modules over trivial ring extensions. In addition, we characterize (partial) silting, cosilting and weak silting modules over formal triangular matrix rings.
