Abstract
The obtained colloidal solutions of nanoparticles are studied during laser ablation of silicon and silver in ethanol. It is shown that silver nanoparticles are present in the form of both polycrystals and single crystals and have two polymorphic modifications with a cubic and a hexagonal structure. Silicon nanoparticles are mainly amorphous; there are also silicon nanoparticles with a single-crystal structure.
