Abstract

Background: Vomiting is a nonspecific clinical feature of traumatic brain injury and considered as an indication for imaging the brain in suspected traumatic brain injury. Number of vomiting episodes is discussed as a tool to predict the severity of injury and currently three episodes of vomiting is accepted as an indication for computerized tomography in paediatric head injury assessment
