Abstract

We report on specific signatures of one-mode squeezing due to multipulse control over quantum dynamics. As an important example, we discuss generation of squeezed bright light beams in an optical parametric oscillator subjected to a periodic sequence of laser pulses. We show that the synchronized pulse control essentially improves the degree of integral squeezing, making it below the standard limit established for a stationary cw regime.
