Abstract

AbstractTo facilitate quality measurements, special electronic circuits, called signal conditioning circuits, are often required as interface between the transducers and the data acquisition systems. Examples of these circuits include input circuits, calibration circuits, operation amplifiers, and filters. It is possible that some of these signal conditioning circuits are integrated within the transducer, or they could be built in the data acquisition device. This chapter provides a discussion of fundamental input circuits and analog signal conditioning devices.
